📌 Why is a prescription required?
Under Singapore law, medications can only be dispensed with a valid prescription issued by an AVS-licensed veterinarian. An invoice, a photo of the medication, or a previous prescription does not qualify as a valid prescription.
A prescription ensures:
✔️ The correct medication and dosage are provided for your pet’s specific condition.
✔️ The medication is safe and appropriate for continued use.
✔️ Compliance with legal requirements to prevent unauthorized dispensing.
We CANNOT dispense medications without a proper prescription, even if your pet has used them before.
Prescription Requirements
- The type and quantity of medication must strictly match the details stated on the prescription.
- Prescriptions remain valid for one year from the date of issue, unless an earlier expiry date is specified.
- Any orders that do not comply—such as sending invoices, medication photos, or outdated prescriptions—will not be processed.
⚠️ Attempting to order medication without a valid prescription may be considered prescription fraud.
